GE Appliances Partners with Tuskegee University to Launch Career Readiness Program for Current Students and Alumni (9131 hits)


Major manufacturing company GE Appliances has partnered with Tuskegee University to help HBCU students transition from college students into successful professionals through a Career Readiness and Leadership program.

While a degree opens the doors, there’s more to a successful career than your hard-earned diploma. GE Appliances, a company committed to training and hiring diverse talent, is collaborating with the South Metro Atlanta Tuskegee Alumni Club to host this virtual Career Readiness and Leadership Program.

Starting December 4th, there will be Saturday career and leadership sessions that students can attend once a month to help them prepare for life after graduation. Each Saturday session is held from 10–11:30 a.m. CST, 11 a.m.–12:30 p.m. EST Students must attend at least 5 of the sessions in order to graduate from the program. Four students who complete the program will win a $250 gift card.
